Adoration

Ever been so busy you hardly know what day it is? You know exactly what I mean!
Then yesterday I did the unbelievable. I didn’t log in online. I didn’t get on the phone at the crack of business hours. I didn’t go to a meeting. I did no church strategic planning and research. I just went outside and actually pulled weeds, planted seeds and marveled at the flowering fruit trees in our yard…
The purpose was to re - focus and get re - aligned.
When we stop and take the time to adore God for all his incredible work, something happens… You get in touch with your Creator God and appreciate the world given you. This is especially easy these days now that spring has sprung. At least it has here in the New York Metro Region!!!
As I labored in God’s handiwork I began to deeply adore Him for all that has been given to me. With that, surge of renewal swept through me.
Today, stop and take the time to see the beauty of creation all around you. And adore Him who made it all… Something will stir deep within. Guaranteed.

Clean Up Time

I'm sitting in my office looking out at the busy turnpike where 6,000 cars an hour zip by. It's some busy... Now and again someone slows down, honks and waves.
In a few minutes I'm going to pop outside. There's been a ton of wind lately and there's paper garbage everywhere. I'm going to pick it up... It isn't exactly good to not look our best as people drive by.
In our own lives we also accumulate garbage and there comes a time to get at it or it'll pile up and we'll disappear behind it! Spring is the big time for cleaning up properties. Why not our lives as well? Before we drown in the garbage.
